Tricia Graduates!

One of our special "adopted" daughters graduated from Auburn University on Thursday. We are so incredibly proud of her. She is such a blessing to our family is so many ways. Our children absolutely love Tricia. She is one of our baby sitters, she works in the church nursery, she is Paul's secretary, she is my side kick, and she is our friend! She wears so many hats, and she juggles them all well. Tricia doesn't miss the kids birthday parties, and she shows up early to help me finish getting my big dinners put together. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. Oh yeah, she is the only person who offers to keep all three kids for weekends so Paul and I can get away. You don't even have to ask, she just offers! We have always said that Eleenah thinks that Tricia really is her sister. She just knows she doesn't live here. Thursday night, we had the opportunity to host Tricia's graduation dinner. It was so awesome to see how proud her parents are of her. She is the first person in her family to graduate. Not only is she the first, but she graduated with honors all while working full time to get herself through. Tricia, no matter what you decide to do, we will be there cheering you on. You are going to make a great teacher and any child who gets the opportunity to be in your class will be so blessed. I know that God has great things in store for you. He's just going to reveal his plan slowly, so hold on and know that he has wonderful plans for you. We love you, and we're glad you'll still be part of the family!
